COMMUNITY PARTERSHIP & NETWORK BUILDING

Community partnership and Network Building:

To cultivate the local-leaders with conceptualization of sustainable community development and to construct building for community infrastructure were the major objective of imparting the community partnership and network building. This is to ensure the community participation in the developmental work along with involvement to the both primary and secondary stakeholders in the developmental process through the network building. In this heading, the activities as well as the implementing modality are also involved. In this regards, following activities were scheduled for the action in the previous fiscal year while most of the activities were conducted in the preceding years:

To ensure the capacity building of community people and partners, it has been conducted different training, workshops and meeting along with the monitoring and evaluation. For the review and monitoring and evaluation, it also had been conducted the District Project Advisory Committee (DPAC) meeting 28 times. Generally it is conducted the Project Management Committee (PMC) and Community Development Committee (CDC) meetings once in a month to review the activities and amend the upcoming activities along with suggestions, preplanning and re-planning. The PMC and CDC are the representative body from the target community people with the presence of the line agencies in both local level and district level. In this regards, 240 persons in different 20 projects participated in the meetings for 12 times minimally. In the previous fiscal year, 25 child clubs and 17 mother groups were formed and provided the capacity building training and orientation to them. For the external monitoring and evaluation of the project, as mentioned in the agreement, District Project Advisory Committee (DPAC) meetings were also conducted to review the on-going activities and planned activities along with field visit from the respective district level line agencies. The meetings were also conducted with CBOs. In addition to meetings, it was also conducted the capacity building training from the respective CBOs, PMC or CDC, child clubs, and mother groups related to social mobilization, human rights approach, team building, and leadership development along with exposure visit to them while the number of participants were 556 members in different training and workshop. As for the construction of community infra, 2 community buildings were constructed and renovated based on the need assessment of the community (For detail, see below).
