Good Neighbors -Nepal (GNN- Nepal) is one of the NGOs in Nepal working for the community development mainly, Education, Livelihood, Health and WASH since 15 years. GNN-Nepal is going to conduct Vocational training under Livelihood Rehabilitation Program in 10 wards Kirtipur Municipality (mention below) of Kathmandu District in collaboration with World Vision International Nepal. Therefore, eligible service provider are invited to submit sealed bids for Well Equipped facilities.

  • GNN may at any time in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, withdraw or suspend the bidding/procurement process in whole or in part without any reasons.
  • Interested parties should be well aware about the submission of bid security as mentioned in the bid document along with completely filled bid documents.
  • Interested bidder shall submit photocopy of firm registration, tax clearance certificate, VAT/PAN certificates along with bid documents
  • Other terms and conditions shall be provided in the bidding documents.
  • Bids will be opened in the presence or absence of Bidders representatives who choose to attend at 5:00 PM on 11th  June, 2019, at Good Neighbor office, Laliltpur. Bid must be valid for a period of 45 Days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to 2.5% of the quoted Bid amount (inclusive of VAT), which shall be valid for 90 days from the date of the bid opening.
  • If last date of purchasing, submission and opening fails on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.

Once the tenders are submitted, they must be evaluated in order to arrive at the selection of the preferred bidder.

Bids will generally be assessed first on a number of pass/fail criteria before the single preferred bidder is decided on. For example:

» Even if the evaluation score is not based on a technical evaluation, a determination must be made that the technical solution proposed by a bidder is feasible, deliverable and robust, that it is based on reliable technologies, that it meets all minimum technical requirements set and that the costs and financial structure are consistent with the technical solution; and

» It is important to look at the proposed project management: the bidding consortium must come across as a cohesive entity rather than just a collection of companies put together for bidding purposes.
